Project Funding: Live 80/20 Healthcare Support
Funds Required: $10,000,000,000 over 5 years
The Live 80/20 Department of Healthcare Support exists to provide financial relief to persons and families who are unable to pay their healthcare expenses. When a family is struck by tragedy, whether in the form of death, accident, or life-altering disease, financial burden should not be added to the agenda.
Since 1993, Christian Care Ministry has been successful in facilitating the sharing of more than $1.1 billion in medical costs. “Medi-Share is a community of Christians who have agreed to live as the early church (Acts 2 & 4) when it comes to sharing each other’s burdens. Members share each other’s eligible medical bills and, most importantly, encourage and lift one another up in prayer.” Along with family sharing, Medi-Share provides services for Disability Sharing and Senior Assist. The Live 80/20 Department of Healthcare will work directly with Medi-Share and has allocated funds to support the on-going medical assistance provided by Medi-Share.
People who are not members of Medi-Share, or who may be members but are still unable to pay for medical treatment, can meet with a team member of the Live 80/20 Department of Healthcare. Eligible participants can receive financial assistant from Live 80/20 for medical bills. Live 80/20 has allocated funds to provide financial assistance for medical bills to qualifying people/families no matter their affiliation.
